problemas con el español (problems with the spanish translations)

Hi, first I want to say I really like this site, and I’m using it for practicing and learning many languages.
The thing is that I see a lot of problems with everything that is in Spanish, my native language. There are problems in spelling, translation, grammar, redaction, and I think the basic source of trouble is the use of a dictionary or web translator as the major way for creating the Spanish stuff. And, well, those things never make sense.

I want to point out some of the mistakes I’ve found and I remember:

First, the list of languages in Spanish has many mistakes. Some of them are forgivable.

‘Germano’ is not a language in Spanish. It may be a way to refer to people from Germany, a country we call Alemania, thus, the correct name for their language is alemán.

‘Japanés’ is also wrong. Is a mixture between the name of the language in English and japonés, the actual name for the language from ‘Japón’.

‘Holandés’ is right, because is the name almost all spanish speaking people give to that language, although is wrong according to the Academia, who says the correct name for that language is neerlandés. But you may stick to holandés if you want people, and not the Academia, to understand it.

‘Arábigo’ is not the right name for the language. You must try ‘árabe’. (Arábigo is an old word to call things that came from Arabia, so can be used to call the language that came from there, but is inaccurate).

‘Latino’ is the adjective to call a man or a thing from the Latin Empire or Civilization. Is also the word that in the language that I am writing is used to refer to people from the middle and south of America (a big continent, not a country). If you want to put the name of the language, you must put ‘latín’.

well, the language names are almost perfect. I think I wasn't clear enough, this is not my language, but I have to say that Japón is the name of the country, 'Japonés', the language they speak.

I made different posts because I was affraid everything could dissapear before I press the Post button. sorry.
